I'd like to be there for you
So you can take my empathy
and glaze it on your cinnamon rolls
In the morning
till it drips and oozes and smothers the baking pan
But hopefully it's not too sweet,
and when you take a sip of your orange juice
with extra pulp
Your tastebuds won't sour
And this is what I'd like.
